At Bellview Elementary we want to celebrate positive behavior. We do so by acknowledging the behaviors that make our school an inviting and safe place to be. Our Behavior Leadership Committee focuses on one problem behavior per nine weeks. We choose the behavior based on our student behavior data. Teachers and staff dedicate time to discuss the targeted behavior with students, teach and re-teach the behavior, as well as model the behavior. Students then have the opportunity to receive an Excellent Eagle from their teachers and bus drivers throughout the Nine Weeks. Once the student receives the award, he/she turns it into the Principal and Assistant Principal and are celebrated for their positive behavior and rewarded with a piece of candy. At the end of each nine weeks we allow the students with these awards to participate in an Excellent Eagle celebration. We are proud of our Excellent Eagles!
